Report Copyright Violation

At dandelionLove.com, we are committed to protecting intellectual property rights.  As stated in our Terms of Use:

Only original work may be submitted.  YOU are responsible as submitter to ensure that our use of content you submit does not violate copyright.  Submittals found to be in violation of copyright will be removed as soon as we become aware of the violation.

We will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies to assist in the investigation and prosecution of intellectual property theft.

Because much of our content comes from our community of readers, it is possible for copyright violations to occur without our knowledge.  As a result, we depend on our readers to help us prevent the use of stolen content.

If you believe that your copyright-protected work has been posted to dandelionLove.com in a way that violates copyright you may notify us using the procedure outlined below.  In order to take action, we require official notification as described in 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3)(A).  This includes specific information which will enable us to respond to your complaint as expeditiously as possible.

1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit the us to locate the material.  This could include such things as post titles and URL’s.
4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address at which the complaining party may be contacted.
5. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Items 2 and 3 are especially important.  Providing information regarding the copyright and works that are infringing upon it is essential in order for dandelionLove.com to make an informed decision regarding removal of the offending material.  Without this information, the law does not require action, and none will be taken.
